Our Installed Parts and Labor Warranty

Regarding the period that begins on Closing Date or 90 days after Notice of Completion (NOC), 

whichever occurs first, Huskey provides a one-year warranty on installed parts and labor. 

We will provide labor and replacement parts at no charge to the builder or homeowner for the repair 

of material and workmanships defects in windows and exterior door components, as defined by the 

product manufacturer’s warranty. 

Warranty Diagnostic and Trip Charges 

Diagnostic and trip charges will always be waived if any warranty fault (as defined by the 

product manufacturer) is found upon our arrival at a jobsite.  

If we roll a truck to the jobsite, and we discover no issue covered under warranty, our standard trip 

charge (currently $125) and diagnostic fee (currently $78) will be billed to the requesting party.  

Huskey works with its builders and homeowners to obtain photographs, videos, and other 

information that brings clarity and understanding, to the extent feasible, before we roll a truck to a 

warranty service, so billable warranty calls should be the exception rather than the norm. 

Huskey Warranty Period Expiration

After the Huskey warranty period has expired, original equipment manufacturer (OEM) warranties 

for window and door products may still be in force, and available to builders and homeowners, 

should they choose to pursue claims directly with the product manufacturer.  Huskey will assist the 

builder or homeowner with identifying the manufacturer, and with providing contact information for 

warranty claims with the manufacturer. 

Window or Reseller Door Purchases  

(Where installation services are not also purchased from Huskey) 

When purchasing windows or doors not manufactured by Huskey, and where our installation 

services are not also purchased, pursuit of warranty claims will be directly between the builder or 

homeowner and the product manufacturer. Huskey will assist the builder or homeowner with 

identifying the manufacturer, and with providing contact information for warranty claims with the 

manufacturer. 

Door Purchases (Doors Manufactured by Huskey)

When purchasing door systems manufactured by Huskey, we will cover all material and 

workmanship defects for a period of one year from the date of purchase. Exterior doors must be 

under at least 12 inches of watertight overhang to quality for warranty coverage.
